The 23rd edition of the Metalmania Festival, which was to take place on the 7th March 2009 at the Spodek Hall in Katowice, will eventually not happen due to a major renovation works at the venue – Spodek will be closed for almost 6 months from January 1st, 2009. However, to keep up the tradition of the festival, Metal Mind Productions will organize Metalmania Fest 2009. The date remains the same but the venue changes to a smaller place – Stodola Club in Warsaw.
