Unholy Fest is canceled.
Cradle of Filth, Entombed, Moonspell and Unleashed are among the bands that will perform at the Unholy Fest in Ostrava, Czech Republic on July 24-25, 2009.
Amon Amarth, Obituary and Enslaved have canceled their appearance at the festival.
Gorgoroth will not perform at Unholy Fest. Read the update from Infernus below:
“GORGOROTH will not be playing at Unholy Fest in the Czech Republic on July 24, despite this being reported both on the festival’s official web site and elsewhere. No deal was ever finalized for the band to play at the festival. The band tried for a long time to negotiate with the promoters to make the festival appearance happen, but negotiations went nowhere due to a lack of communication from the promoters. No deal was ever settled, and GORGOROTH will therefore not appear at the festival.”
DARK FUNERAL has issued the following message:
“Just like countless of other bands, we have, unfortunately, also been forced cancel our show at the Unholy Fest. It actually seems like this festival was never going happen in the first place, and just a big scam already from the beginning. The promotor seems to have disappeared from the surface of the earth, whereof we, and as it seems, also many other bands, simply have no other option but to cancel.”
Ostrava is placed close to the polish border, only 15 km (Cieszyn border crosing).
Not far from international air ports in Praha (Czech Rep.), Krakow and Katowice (Poland).
