Upcoming Metal Festivals from USA in 2010

American Waste Festival is conceived from a couple friends who wanted to help bring Kansas City a fest to call it’s own. The festival is taking place June 6 & 7 at The Beaumont Club in Kansas City, MO. Testament are headlining the event.

Suffocation and Winds of Plague are among the bands confirmed for the Gotham City Metalfest held at the The Pearl Room in Mokena, IL, U.S.A on 11-12 April, 2009.

The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will enter its second decade this April with an eclectic mixture of bands from the metal and hardcore genres. Returning to the Palladium in Worcester, Mass., the event will take place on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, with a an extra special pre-party on Thursday, April 16.

The Northwestern Black Circle Festival is the 1st official Northwestern Black Metal Fest. This is a yearly celebration of the blackest acts to come out of the great pacific domain. Ceremonial Castings and Inquisition are among the bands confirmed for the Northwestern Black Circle Festival held in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. on May 23, 2009.

Auditory Assault Festival is the second festival coming to you from the same guys who organize the annual Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore, MD.

Buckcherry, Korn and Dope are among the bands that will perform at the RockFest at The Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri on May 30, 2009.

Twisted Sister, Vixen and Saxon are among the bands confirmed so far for the Rocklahoma Festival at Catch The Fever Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma on July 9th – 12th, 2009.

The 7th edition of the Chicago Powerfest will take place at the Pearl Room in Mokena, Illinois on May 7-9, 2009. Also, as previously announced, the PAGANFEST USA: Part 2 tour will be making a stop on the first night (May 7) of this year’s Powerfest to kick it off again with some amazing Pagan metal!

ROCK ON THE RANGE–America’s premiere destination rock festival — will return to Columbus, Ohio’s Crew Stadium Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.

Deicide, Monstrosity and Vital Remains are among the bands that will perform at the Hostile City Death Fest at the Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 4-5, 2009.
