With all the major live events being cluttered for the summertime, there is both an absence of and a demand for metal get-togethers like the Finnish Metal Expo during the darker half of the year.
In 2012, the ARTmania Festival in Sibiu will take place between August 6-12 and will offer art lovers a various cultural program including concerts, exhibitions, workshops and other special events dedicated to the fine arts. All these will take place in the medieval fortress of Sibiu and Sibiu Arena (Camping and Entertainment). The concerts in the Large Square will take place on Friday and Saturday, the 10th and 11th of August.
Masters of Rock will take place in Vizovice, Czech Republic on June 12-15, 2012.
Within Temptation, Edguy and Sabaton are among the bands that will perform at the Masters of Rock 2012 festival.
